Holding the Clinical Ethics Committee on 08/25/2020

The Clinical Ethics Committee, chaired by Dr. Naderi, was held on Monday, 08/25/2020, from 13:00 to 14:30 in the presence of members.

At the beginning of the meeting, a review of the improvement program was made regarding the patients' complaints and suggestions, which was approved by the members, and it was decided that the meeting would be implemented by the members with the focus on hospital management.

Then the secretary of the meeting reviewed the approvals of the previous meeting and the issues that needed to be approved by the committee were raised. The most important issues raised at the meeting are as follows:

1- In order to plan and implement incentive programs and institutionalize patient-centered culture, it was determined: the by-laws regarding the cases of incentives should be extracted and compiled after the approval of the relevant authorities. And annually, etc. in such a way that all employees who deserve to be encouraged to be seen in this field, including units that do not have direct contact with patients and companions.)

2- Considering that LCD TV is available in all hospital rooms, it was decided that the health promotion team will strengthen and update the videos to improve the scientific level of patients and their companions.

3- The quality improvement manager suggested that the sample size of us (patients who complete the satisfaction sheet in one month) in relation to the statistical population (number of patients operated in one month) should be at least based on Morgan table and relevant colleagues should pay attention. In this regard. Morgan table is a simple way to calculate the sample size for when the population size is known. The table, known as the Morgan table, is one of the most widely used standard methods for calculating statistical sample size. This table is attached to the minutes.
